Learn to Ride

Event Description

Ride, Race, Enjoy. The MWA Learn To Ride Program is designed to remove one of the biggest hurdles we have when trying to encourage new riders into recreational motorcycle activities hosted by MWA affiliated clubs. With MWA being able to provide a rider training experience by an accredited coach, with all equipment supplied for only a minimal charge of $170 if MWA supply bike and safety gear, $130 if you have your own bike and safety gear. Being able to open a new pathway for participants to enter through. MWA have a range of entry level motorcycles for Motorcycling Western Australia to run the program is predominantly aimed at age range from 4-17 enabling the program to cater for children through to young adults. MWA will also supply participant the required body amour, helmet and gloves. All participants must wear long pants, long sleeve shirts and boots. This gives participants from North and South of the river a location reasonably close to the metro area, enabling them to experience all of what W.A clubs have to offer. If required, additional dates and venues may be arranged for gender or age specific groups on a case by case. So, if you want to learn how to ride but don’t have a bike, join us today!
